Shoko-tan updated her official blog with a picture of herself and Nishikawa Takanori – also known as T.M.Revolution – sharing a meal together.
“Today was such a wonderful day! Nishikawa Takanori… invited me out!!!!! …We had an amazing time talking about life, anime, all sorts of stuff while eating a warm meal together,” Shoko-tan blogged excitedly about her “date” with the famous singer.
T.M.Revolution is well-known for contributing a song titled “HEART OF SWORD ~Yoake Mae~” to the popular anime “Rurouni Kenshin,” of which Shocotan is a huge fan. She has previously covered the Rurouni Kenshin-related tunes “1/2″ and “Sobakasu” for her own anisong cover albums, so her meeting with Nishikawa was even more special.
“I was so shocked to find out that ‘HEART OF SWORD’ means ‘kenshin’ (in Japanese),” the nerdy idol pondered, referring to the name of the anime’s main character. “Thanks to BASARA, the energy of Nishikawa-sama’s song made me smile and remember scenes (from the game). Uwaaaaaa~ I really can’t even put my gratitude into words!!!!!”
Shocotan received a copy of T.M.Revolution’s single “Save the One, Save the All,” which was released last December, as a special memento of their fun meeting.

Famous gore movie director Noboru Iguchi (RoboGeisha, Mutant Girls Squad) has given a classic tokusatsu series a new look! Entitled Karate-Robo Zaborgar, is the 2011 movie remake of the 1974 tokusatsu series Denjin Zaborger.
An evil secret society called Sigma kidnaps Japan's political and business leaders, to harvest DNA for the creation of their Ultimate Weapon. Sigma's only serious opponent: secret agent Yutaka Daimon with his faithful robot motorcycle sidekick Zaborgar.
Daimon has a personal vendetta against Sigma as they killed his father, but he starts doubting his mission when the people he protects turn out to be cowardly and corrupt. Disaster strikes when Daimon starts to have romantic feelings for Miss Borg, a sexy cyborg agent from Sigma, leading to a split between Daimon and Zaborgar.
Karate-Robo Zaborger will be split into two arcs. The first being Daimon's younger days, and the later half dealing with Daimon's middle-age days. Young Daimon will be played by Furuhara Yasuhisa (Engine Sentai Go-onger), while Itao Itsuji (Kamen Rider the FIRST) plays the older Daimon. And Takenaka Naoto (Nodame Cantabile) will play Daimon's father.
Other casts includes Emoto Akira who plays as Dr. Akunomiya while Yamasaki Mami (GoGo Sentai Boukenger) plays Miss Borg. Lastly, Watanabe Hiroyuki (Kamen Rider Den-O: Ore Tanjou, GARO) plays the inspector that allies with Daimon.
Karate-Robo Zaborger is directed by Noboru Iguchi and produced by Sushi Typhoon. It is slated for 2011 release.

Japanese broadcaster TV Tokyo, had confirmed that the fourth Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series entitled Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal will start airing this 11th of April 2011. It will air in Golden Time (7:30 PM) on TV Tokyo and its network affiliates.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal tells the story of Yuma Tsukumo. He is number one bad boy at his school. Something unexpected happens as Ryoga challenges him to a Duel. When the mysterious entity called Astral, appears before them, and a new legend begins!
The Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal anime also introduces a new type of monster known as Exceed Monsters which are summoned from the hand by overlaying two monsters with the same level whose total level matches the monster you wish to summon. Unlike other summoning types, the material monsters are not sent to the Graveyard, but instead become Overlay Units which support the Exceed Monster.

Tokyohive reported all the way back in September that the popular anime “K-ON!” would be adapted into a film, and details on this highly-anticipated release have finally been revealed!
During the February 20th event, “TV Anime ‘K-ON!’ Live Event ~Come With Me~”, it was announced that the movie version of the anime will be coming to theaters across Japan on December 3rd of 2011.
The popular series will also be making its manga comeback in the spring of this year after being dormant for nearly six months. More information about the “K-ON!” manga will be included in the April edition of “Manga Time Kirara,” the magazine in which “K-ON!” is published.

According to the American entertainment news website, “Deadline”, Skydance Productions is looking into turning the classic 1970s anime series “Star Blazers” (“Space Battleship Yamato”) into a live-action film.
For people who are not familiar with the anime, “Star Blazers” was the title of the English dubbed version of the anime “Space Battleship Yamato” that just saw a Japanese live-action adaption starring Kimura Takuya.
Skydance recently made a deal with Paramount and co-financed the highly successful “True Grit” that is up for 10 Oscars, including Best Picture. Apparently Skydance is trying to get Christopher McQuarrie (“The Usual Suspects”, “Valkyrie”) as the screenwriter for this project.

ANN reported that Lucky Star will be adapted into a stage musical!
The April issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Comp Ace magazine is announcing on Saturday that a stage musical adaptation of Kagami Yoshimizu's Lucky Star manga has been green-lit. According to the magazine, the play will have an all-new story. More information will be provided in the April issue of Kadokawa's COMPTIQ magazine on March 10.

Pop band supercell has just announced that they will be releasing their second album, “Today Is A Beautiful Day”!
The album will go on sale beginning March 16th and contains all five of the band’s singles since their successful major label debut in 2009. “Today Is A Beautiful Day” will be available in two versions – a limited ‘CD+DVD’ edition and regular ‘CD-only’ edition.
The cover of the regular edition is drawn by the mangaka Miwa Shirou, the same artist who illustrated the cover of their debut single, “Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari,” while the cover of the limited edition was provided by the artist redjuice, who contributed artwork for the band’s previous single, “Sayonara Memories.”
The DVD included with the limited edition CD+DVD version contains an animated PV for the new song, “Perfect Day,” as well as several trailers and a CM for the anime “Bakemonogatari”, featuring the song “Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari.” Those who purchase the limited edition version of “Today Is A Beautiful Day” will also receive an exclusive 36-page illustration book.

X-Men anime teaser trailer! Awesome~~~~~~~~~~
Marvel Anime: X-Men is a collaboration between MADHOUSE and Marvel to reintroduce them for a Japanese audience. Following the death of a teammate, the X-Men are called together by Charles Xavier to travel to Japan following the abduction of Hisako Ichiki. There, they confront the U-Men, a lunatic cult that steals and transplants mutant organs to further strengthen their own army, and the battle for justice is on.
Confirmed mutants to be seen in Marvel Anime: X-Men are Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Beast and Professor X. It will start airing on April 4.

Shoko-tan will be releasing her 13th single soon, titled "Sakurairo"!^^,
It will have been around eight months since the release of her last single, “Flying Humanoid”. “Sakurairo” will be the first “sakura song” for Shoko, and the music video is said to revolve around a school’s music department and the ending will be bittersweet. The lyrics of “Sakurairo” were written by meg rock, who also wrote the lyrics to Nakagawa’s song, “Sorairo Days”.
In addition to that, Nakagawa Shoko will be going on a nation-wide tour called, “SHOKO NAKAGAWA Live Tour 2011 Tenkatouitsu!”, starting on March 27th.
