Video of dismantling work of the 1/1 scale Gundam RX-78-2 at Shiokaze Park. This 1/1 scale RX-78-2 was built for Bandai Namco Group's " Bandai Namco Groups' "Real G" Green Tokyo Gundam Project, the statue was truly the highlight of Gundam 30th Anniversary. According to the same report, the total number of visitor to the park between July 11th and August 31st when the statue was opened for public viewing was 4 million and 152 thousand, which totally exceed the original expectation of 1.5 million.
The progress last Thursday (September 10th) showed that the head and arms were off. This latest video clip on Sunday (September 13th) revealed that the entire upper body was off and the work moved on to removing the waist and leg.
