Last month when Pokémon Go was launched on July 6th, the second day of Raya I was so freaking excited and quickly installed the game. But that time around there were no Pokémon available yet in this country. While playing the game I put some thought in it and deleted the game afterwards and posted my opinion here on my blog which merely a first impression that got me so many hate comments. lol

A screenshot from my Instagram from 6 weeks ago when I first installed the game.

Pokémon Go is officially launched in Brunei in 6th or 7th August if I am not mistaken and the hype was crazy and clearly become a phenomenon in this country. Honestly seeing people playing the game, going outside to interact with other people is pretty exciting. Watching my colleagues at the office playing the games and seeing their amazement was really fun. Though believe me I will never gonna re-install because I still think the game can be dangerous and will take a lot of my time. But NO HATE for the game tho! lol

The Pokémon Go craze led businesses in Brunei to offer offering promotional packages to lure in Pokemon players and to attract Pokemon Go players into their establishments and boost sales. Even Jerudong Park hosted a 3-Day 'Pokemon Go' Promo; a three hours' worth of Lure Modules (to attract the Pokemons) on all Jerudong Park Pokestops. There was even a free merchandise giveaways on that night for successful hunters! How awesome is that?!

As for now only Gen 1 Pokémons are available in the game. Rumor has it that Gen 2 will be introduced some time next year! Which will also introduce a trainer battle systems and trading system! More info can be found on this site.

Unarguably Pokémon Go is really fun to play as it encourages you to connect with people and cultivates social engagement. People share locations of Pokémons, and this will allow them to engage and collaborate with other trainers. Places that once was so quiet has now flooded with people playing Pokémon Go such as The Billionth Barrel Monument in Seria, and Yayasan Shopping Complex as well as Bandar area. This also give small business owners the opportunity to set up small stall or booth to sell food and drinks.

I have nothing against Pokémon Go. Having different opinion from other people does not make me the bad guy. I simply choose not to play the game but I still enjoy watching other people play the game! :)

FINALLY!! After 10 yeas waiting after it was announced, Final Fantasy XV will hit PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 30th this year!

Platinum Demo, a new teaser for FFXV launches yesterday and it's free to download on PS4 and Xbox One, unfortunately it is not available on the PC, at least for now because FFXV director Hajime Tabata told Engadget that the studio isn't currently working on a PC version of the game. But, Tabata said he was "aware of the big call for a PC version."

FFXV stars Prince Noctis and his friends as they take one final, epic road trip together before Noctis is married to a neighboring princess. Players will control Noctis only throughout the entire game, though his friends are independent AI helpers and he can give commands to them.

Saints Row series seems to have gone on a bit of a hiatus after the franchise's bi-annual release schedule. Deep Silver, a German publisher bought both the Saints Row franchise and developer Volition back in 2013.

CEO of Deep Silver Klemens Kundratitz said on MCV “Deep Silver has a lot of games in the pipeline and are very much looking forward to E3, where we are not going to be absent and where we will make our next major announcement.”

Saints Row isn’t mentioned by name but it could be something brand new. Perhaps using the power of both PS4 and Xbox One, Saints Row 5 could be something beyond spectacular.

Last Sunday at around midday, 34-year-old Fumiaki Kuranouchi and his friend went to a Monster Hunter "stamp rally" in Tokyo. Before leaving, they rode a roller coaster called the "Spinning Coaster Maihime". Sadly, the ride cost Kuranouchi his life.

The tragedy took place on Sunday, January 30, which incidentally was the last day of a promotional "stamp rally" for Monster Hunter at Tokyo Dome City, where the roller coaster is located. Besides Monster Hunter stamps, there was also a shop with food and goodies inspired by the popular PSP games.

According to The Mainichi Daily News, the attraction Kuranouchi rode seats four passengers (two back-to-back) and takes tight turns as it spins through a 1,000 foot-long track, reaching speeds of 22mph. The embedded video shows the attraction in action.

"We were worried that we might not be allowed to ride the roller coaster as both of us are big," Kuranouchi's friend, who was riding next to the victim, told investigators. Kuranouchi's friend reportedly said that they were thinking of only getting their Monster Hunter stamps and going home if they could not ride the Spinning Coaster Maihime due to their size. Both were, however, allowed on the ride.

Six-feet-tall and weighing in at over 285 pounds, Kuranouchi was a large man, and there are unconfirmed claims in the Japanese media that the safety bar could not close due to his size. The part-time worker manning the ride apparently told police that she didn't do a hand-check for Kuarnouchi's safety bar, because it "appeared to be locked as it was positioned right on his stomach."

Soon after the ride began, Kuranouchi was thrown from the coaster, falling over twenty feet to the concrete below. He died two hours later at the hospital.

The police have since raided the offices of the theme park and the company responsible for importing the machine, on the suspicion of professional negligence leading to death, reports Kyodo News. Sources say that the park's training manual does not clearly depict how to confirm that the safety bars are locked in place. The park, however, stated that it "verbally" tells staff to check with their hands to see if the safety bar is in place.

This isn't the first tragedy Japanese theme parks have suffered. In 2007, the six-car Fujin Raijin II attraction at Osaka's Expoland derailed, killing a 19-year-old female who hit her head on the guardrail. Nineteen other passengers were also injured. The theme park, which was built for the 1970s World Expo in Osaka, closed temporarily, but later reopened. It finally closed for good in 2009. Police later determined that the cause of the accident was a cracked axle. The attraction's axle hadn't been replaced for 15 years.

The Nikkei, Japan's equivalent to the Wall Street Journal, is reporting that this incident could hurt the earnings of Tokyo Dome City. Good.

A trailer for Bandai Game`s upcoming multiplayer mecha action game Armored Core V ahs been posted by Gamespot. You can watch the trailer using the player below:

Armored Core V is the 14th installment and 5th main installment of From Software's Armored Core series.

The game will be more about tactics and using the geography of level rather than high-speed finger work. This harks back more to the original PS1 games, especially the first, as many levels were set within city type environments and were more tactical as a consequence. A notable difference will be smaller mecha (5 meter tall, as opposed to the 10 meter mecha from the previous releases), which will allow more varied, "three dimensional" stages. A greater emphasis on stealth will be the direct result in the size change, allowing the mecha to maneuver between alleyways, and buildings for cover, and stealth tactics. Due to the size change of the mecha, levels will be much bigger and more detailed. Another element is that you won’t just view your AC from behind, but will have more camera control. The developers are taking a more realistic approach. The narrative will mirror this too, as the characterisation won’t be simply friend or foe but instead more grounded and realistic.
The online mode features five on five team-based battles, with each side battling over specific objectives. Additionally, one member of the team will be designated as a commander (called an "Operator"), whose job it is to oversee the larger battle and issue orders to the other team members. A special interface is being designed by the developers to facilitate this.

A trailer for FFXIII-2 is now available! You can watch it using the player below:

According to the logo, viaJEFusion, it includes two new characters that will fight alongside with the game's heroine, Lightning. The names for these characters are yet to be confirmed at this point.

The announcement for Final Fantasy XIII-2 was made in the recent Square Enix 1st Production Division event in Japan by producer Yoshinori Kitase and to be directed by Motomu Toriyama. It will be released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this 2011.

It is rumored that Final Fantasy XIII will be having a sequel!

A domain, finalfantasy13-2game.com acquired by http://jin115.com/, but it was not registered by Square Enix themselves, but by a company which has registered domains on their behalf in the past, including games both as yet released and unreleased.

The sequel has been rumored before; whether the domain acquisition actually confirms it is open to question, but it is hard to see why else they or anyone else would want the domain.

Curiously, even Square Enix’s genius CEO has made comments to the effect that the franchise in need of change – it is not clear how another rehash fits in with this vision.
