Just finished watching this global hit K-drama! I cried so much! 😭😭😭 This complicated supernatural/fantasy/romance drama was beautifully written. It was cute and funny (especially the bromance lol) but also sad and touching.

It taught us valuable lessons about life and death and the obvious lesson from this drama was to cherish every moments we have with our loved ones. I like how (almost) every episodes had a scene on someone dying and leaving their loved ones behind. It made you think about life. Eventually, we are all fated to die. No matter how careful we are, we still have to face it one day.

This drama also taught us that true love requires patience and loyalty! Anyone can say "I love you", but not everyone can wait and prove its true. This without a doubt the BEST K-drama I've ever watched! Kudos to the writers and actors for delivering such an inspiring and brilliant story.

So the Death Note drama which was announced back in April is already out! Any of you have watched the series yet?

19-year-old Atsuko Maeda of the all-female pop group AKB48 will have her first lead role in a television series with Hana Zakari no Kimi-tachi e ~Ikemen Paradise, a new live-action series which will premiere in Japan's Fuji TV network this July.

Hisaya Nakajo's Hana Zakari no Kimi-tachi e (Hana-Kimi) shōjo school romance manga followed a girl named Mizuki as she disguises herself to attend the same all-boys school as her idol. Several of the dorm residential advisors, including a boy named Minami Nanba, discover Mizuki's secret but vow to keep quiet.

The manga already inspired a 2007 live-action series of the same name with then rising stars such as Maki Horikita, Shun Oguri, and Toma Ikuta. That earlier series had an average rating of 17.3%. Maeda said that she is familiar with the earlier live-action series, and that she is also a big fan of the original manga.

AKB48 will perform the theme song for the new live-action series, and the new single will go on sale in August. Maeda is also starring in a film adaptation of Natsumi Iwasaki's Moshi Kōkō Yakyū no Joshi Manager ga Drucker no Management o Yondara (Moshidora) business novel on June 4.

I`ve started watching a Korean dorama! LOL The first K-drama that I am currently watching for this year; Personal Taste. Never intend to watch it at first but it was recommended by my friend, so why not give it a try?

Jeon Jin Ho is a straight guy who pretends to be gay in order to become a roommate to his female friend, Park Kae In. His hobbies include organization and ironing, and he’s known for his stoic poker face. He’s a stickler for cleanliness, but he also has a talent for figuring out women’s feelings. Kae In is very trusting even though she has a habit of being betrayed. However that doesn’t stop her from giving people the benefit of doubt and Jin Ho is no different. How will Kae In react when she finds out that her gay roommate is not actually gay at all and that he has fallen for her?

Personal Taste Opening Theme. Love it!

This dorama starred Lee Min Ho as Jeon Jin Ho and Son Ye Jin as Park Kae In.

Personal Taste is a dorama that will surely made you laugh! The hero, was always caught in a silly situation that made him look gay, when actually, he is not! It started off with the heroine being late for her work and she bumped into Jin Ho on her way to her workplace. The plot of this dorama was abit slow at the beginning. Some of you might lost some interest in it. Well I`m not gonna talk about the whole episode since I`ve only watched it till episode 4. Gonna continue watching it tonight! XD

I`m not really a big fan of K-Drama but if you are a big sucker of romantic comedy, then this one is for you. And FYI 2AM’s Seulong is also acting in this dorama! Hohoho..

A quick review on Liar Game season 2. Finished this drama few weeks ago and it was awesome!

Liar Game season starts off with Kanzaki Nao, having a normal life after she and Akiyama won the third round in Liar Game season 1. When she was returning from her surprise birthday party, she received another box containing money and a letter, from the Liar Game! She was forced to enter the fourth round and teamed up with Akiyama and Fukunaga Yuji once again.

The best thing about season 2 is the epic games! The fourth round start with 24 Rensou Russian Roulette, with Fukunaga playing. Fourth round are divided by three games, first round was 24 Rensou Russian Roulette, followed by 17 Poker and Stationary Roulette. Like season 1, Nao never plans to win any of the money, so she ended up saving every player by paying their debts.

A few characters from Season 1 are returning, that is Suzuki Kosuke(Fukunaga Yuji) and Morishita Yoshiyuki(Tsuchida Yasufumi) and few others makes a cameo on episode 1, celebrating Nao`s birthday. In the later episodes two more games are being played; "Angels and Demons", one of the best IMO, and the last game, "Gold Rush", similar to the third game in season one where you need to smuggle something into a territory without being caught, but with a little twist.

The drama ends at episode 9, but the final game will continue in the movie, LIAR GAME: The Final Stage.

I love season 2 more than season 1. The games were amazing especially "Angels & Demons", if you wanna know what the game is all about you gotta watch this drama yourself! Kanzaki Nao, played by Toda Erika is getting cuter, and I love her new hair. lol Okay Nao in season 2 is berry different character compared to season 1, where all she did was cry cry and cry! But in season 2, Nao is a more confident and strong character.

Watch it if you love the manga, or have watched season 1! Berry great dorama.

Liar Game season 1 and 2`s op. Love season 2`s op, but lol at the pole! XD

Score: A-

Me love Japanese dorama, especially police/detective dorama like this. Me definitely gunna watch this. Tokyo DOGS is still me favorite tho! XD

A manga by Miki Yoshikawa, Yankee-kun to Megane-chan is getting it`s drama adaptation and will be premiered on April 23. The drama adaptation was announced by the 13th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine.

In Yankee-kun to Megane-chan's story, class representative Hana goes all out to drag Daichi into school activities and their high school's social circles. Daichi learns that Hana was secretly a former delinquent herself, and that is why she tries so hard to reform Daichi as well.

Hiroki Narimiya (Gokusen, Tokyo DOGS, Drop) will be playing the title "Yankee-kun" (delinquent) Daichi Shinagawa, while Riisa Naka (The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Kami no Shizuku) will play the eyeglasses-wearing, overachieving "Megane-chan" or Hana Adachi. I have not seen Riisa Naka`s performance before but I`ve seen Hiroki Nariyama playing a delinquent in Drop and he did great portraying such character! Can`t wait for this dorama. ^^,

My review on the best drama of the decade; Tokyo DOGS!

Title: Tokyo DOGS
Gnere: Police, Crime, Romance
No. of Episodes: 10
Broadcast network: Fuji TV

Cast:

Oguri Shun(Crows Zero, Gokusen) as Takakura So

Mizushima Hiro(Drop, Kamen Rider Kabuto) as Kudo Maruo

Yoshitaka Yuriko as Matsunaga Yuki

Synopsis

Takakura So witnessed his father’s murder at a young age. Pledging to catch the killer, he grows up to become an elite cop in New York City, where the criminal lives. His character is cool-headed and disciplined, yet adapts well. Because of major drug dealings, he gets sent to Tokyo to conduct a joint investigation with the Japanese police. There, he gets teamed up with, Kudo Maruo, a detective from a special investigative division. Kudo is a hot-blooded fighting expert due to his earlier days as a delinquent, but he makes a strong impression with his stylish appearance and is always interested in going on group dates. His personality, interests, and investigation methods are completely mismatched with Takakura’s, but the two somehow work together to crack the case they’ve been given.

Tokyo DOGS is the first true police drama that aired in Fuji TV's Monday 9:00pm time slot from 19 October to December 21 last year.

This drama is definitely the best Japanese drama I`ve ever watched! I`ve seen lots of J-dorama before but I never enjoyed watching them as much as I enjoy Tokyo DOGS. The story wasn`t that original; main lead(Takakura So) wanted a revenge for his father, female lead(Matsunaga Yuki) is the key to the murderer but she has amnesia but the whole mystery element in this drama always leave you curious and made you wanna know more about it!

Oguri Shun and Mizushima Hiro makes a great team! So is a serious, cool-headed and discplined detective and Maruo is a hot-blooded fighting expert, flirtatious and a play-boy detective! I`m a fan of these two dudes and they made the drama more interesting! Hiro is a really funny/dorky detective who, at first hates working with So and called him "American Sensei", this was due to So grew up as an elite cop in NYPD and he usually acted more like an American detective during investigation. But as the story progress, Maruo began to enjoy working with So and kept asking whether So is going back to America after the case was solved or not.

Matsunaga Yuki is a girl who has amnesia, a key to the case which the two detectives are working. Yuki is a soft-spoken type of girl and she is soo cute! Yuki live together with So and Maruo during the investigation and to Yuki, those two detectives were like brothers to her. [SPOILER] She was actually the young girlfriend of Jinno, the guy who murdered So`s father and this makes things more complicated.

There is a running gag in this drama, where So`s mother always called him during investigation and shoot-out, often asking about unnecessary stuff. For example, in one of the episode she asked So to go home and feed her Tamagochi pet! O.O LOL

Opening theme:

A really awesome opening theme! I really like the music and Yoshitaka Yuriko look soo cute in the video!! =3

Ending theme:

The audio track was removed but you listen to the song using the player below:

The song was called Futatsu no Kuchibiru by EXILE. A really lovely song!^^,

Yoshitaka Yuriko is so beautiful!! =3 This drama tells the story of two cops who could not be more opposite -- Takakura So (played by Oguri) is cool headed and serious, while Kudo Maruo (played by Mizushima) is an ex-delinquent and more of the flashy type.
