Ben! Its BEN YOU GUYS!! Believe it or not the man behind Gempakstarz's Fatal Chaos, Le Gardenie and Te@mare (to name a few) is in Brunei! And guess what? I get to meet him yesterday and Brunei's Pesta Buku 2017!


I have always been a fan of Ben ever since I started reading Gempak magazine more than 10 years ago. Ben is no longer working with Gempakstarz by the way. He is now under Komik M owned by PTS Media Group. And they are currently in Brunei! Today is the last day for you to meet him and from what I heard Ben is going to be there starting around 11AM! You better hurry! They are located at booth #76 & #65

Waited for almost 2 hours in line to meet Ben. But it was worth the wait!

 I brought my Fatal Chaos graphic novel and asked him to autograph the novel!

I was planning to get "Atan" and "Cinta K-Pop" but both of the series were sold out!



I personally asked Ben whether he would like to continue Fatal Chaos. He told me that he's not planning to continue the series, HOWEVER! He did personally told me that they are planning to REVAMP FATAL CHAOS!! I am so freaking excited to hear that! Still not sure when it is going to happen tho.

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone! Brunei's 3rd ToyCon is now confirmed and they already have a date! Don't forget to mark your calendar people! The event will take place o at Pusat Belia in Bandar Seri Begawan. Happening from 31st March until the 2nd of April 2017.

They also have announced a Gunpla OOB Competition!

Few days ago the official Facebook page for Brunei Hobby Enthusiasts posted a teaser for the next Toy Convention!

It has been 8 months since the last Toy Convention that was held in December last year. We all have been eagerly waiting for the 3rd Toy Convention.


We still don't know where and when it will be held but it will happen for sure!

Though I MIGHT have an idea where the venue and what the theme might be BUT that was back in May when I had a conversation with one of the organizer. Below is a little teaser for you guys! :p


Unfortunately I can't expose it yet. My lips are sealed, plus this conversation happened months ago and the venue or the theme might changed! Be patient!

In conjunction with the 4th Anniversary of Otaku Corner x Brunei Anime Figure Collector (BAFC), the second “Hobby Street” is now back! We have activities & various types of hobby model to be showcase during the event. The event showcase features on Anime Figurines which includes Nendoroid, figma, Real Action Heroes (RAH) etc and many others more!

Good news to Ultra fans in Brunei! Those Japanese superheroes will be making their first appearance in Brunei Darussalam from March 18-28 at the Jerudong Park Amphitheatre, hosted by Human Capacity Building Consultancy Service.

 This event is intended to attract visitors from neighbouring countries to Brunei, and also as an encouragement for locals to stay in the country during the school-term holidays.

 Scheduled to make an appearance in March are Ultraman, Ultraman Zero, Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Ginga, Ultraman Taro, Ultraman Seven, Ultraman Mebius and Ultraman Cosmos (Luna model). Meanwhile, among the villain line-up are Alien Baltan, Tyrant, Red King, Golza, Chaos and Monster Booska.

 Tickets available at $28 for blue zone, $38 for red zone and $50 for the VIP Zone which comes with free Ultraman Limited Edition projection watch worth $30 for non ticket holder. For Blue and Red zone ticket holder, the watch is available on sale for $18 each! Tickets can be bought from Freshco Batu Satu, Hua Ho Manggis Mall, Times Square, Gong Cha, Cheez Box and EGM!
