Shokotan appeared in a manga she recently read! LOL

She is depicted as being slightly off-kilter, saying only nonsense. Nakagawa found it so hilarious that the remainder of her blog post consisted of repeating her only lines in the manga and deploring her overly-realistic upper lip.

A manga version for Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders vs. Dai Shocker!

According to JEFusion, on a heated topic on Henshin Justice Unlimited forums called, "I just finished DCD..Sigh," Igadevil posted something about Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders vs. Dai Shocker is supposed to be the original ending of the Kamen Rider Decade TV series but because of a couple of things, but some elements of the original script were removed and some of those ended up in the Director's Cut version of the manga version in which in a second post, he posted the things found in the manga. You can check the differences here!

X Japan`s YOSHIKI and Stan Lee announced on October last year that they would be collaborating for a new superhero comic based on a character who’s a musician. It appears that the two have become quite close, as they made a joint appearance on the red carpet Sunday night at the “68th Annual Golden Globe Awards” in Beverly Hills, California.

Yoshiki had already announced last year that all members of X Japan would be moving to Los Angeles. This appearance is yet another big step for the legendary J-rock group, as it brings more global mainstream media focus upon the band.

Stay tuned to tokyohive for more updates on both X Japan’s future endeavors, and on YOSHIKI x Stan Lee’s collaboration comic!

"Like most artists I am inspired by work I admire. There are certain similarities between some of my work and the work of others. This was simply meant as an homage to artists I respect, and I definitely want to apologize to any Manga fans or fellow Manga artists who feel I went too far. My inspirations reflect the fact that certain fundamental imagery is common to all Manga. This is the nature of the medium."

"I am a big fan of Bleach, as well as other Manga titles. And I am certainly sorry if anyone was offended or upset by what they perceive to be the similarity between my work and the work of artists that I admire and who inspire me." - Simmons statement regarding the alleged plagiarism of Tite Kubo's Bleach manga.

This statements was posted at Comics Worth Reading blog and the site has confirmed with Radical Publishing, the publisher of Incarnate, that the statement comes from Simmons.

The Shock of Suzumiya Haruhi is the title of Haruhi`s 10th light novel volume and it will be the first new one in three years. It was announced by Kadokawa Shoten's The Sneaker magazine that the light novel will be published on April 30.

The last volume in the series was Suzumiya Haruhi no Bunretsu, which shipped in 2007. The light novels inspired two television anime seasons, a film, two net anime series, and several manga adaptations.

I guess there`s no end to Haruhi`s light novel. lol But I personally think this is a good move since they raged fans with Haruhi second season`s Endless Eight.

Nick Simmons will be taking over Kubo Tite and he will be the new manga-ka for Bleach starting next week. AHAHAHAHA!!! Okay that was a joke and I know it`s not funny. =‿‿= Nick Simmons is an American comic book artist. His undead action comic “Incarnate,” has outraged fans of Bleach because readers spotted some rather striking similarities between his work and Bleach! O.O

Shinji`s new look? lol

Orihime dyed her hair!

Ken-chan! XD

Simmons is also alleged to be freely helping himself to scenes from Hellsing, Vampire Hunter D, NANA, Dogs, and others. He has yet to offer any comment on the matter.

Title: Barihaken
Author: Suzuki Shinya
Genre: Comedy, Slice of life story, Action, Otaku

This is a story about an otaku that turns out to be the leader of a bunch of delinquents, but he's hiding his true self. His goal, get a girlfriend who resembles his anime characters. <- The last part reminds me of myself! lol Me want Kona-chan!! =‿‿= Okay let`s get to the manga.

This manga focused on Dango and his ongoing efforts at hiding his otaku life from his gang, well he himself is the leader of the gang. He wasn`t originally the leader of this gang, it all happens when he entered Shuto High School and met a few delinquents who broke his favorite figure. This rages him and made him beaten up one of the delinquent. The rest of the gang members were amazed by his strength and made him the new leader and treated him like a god. lol

I`ve only read the first chapter of this manga so I can`t talk much about it but to tell you the truth, this manga would make a great anime/dorama. Suzuki Shinya`s drawing just doesn't really appeal to me but I`m not saying it`s that bad, no, it`s just he screwed up at some part of the manga.

Admittedly, my first impression of this manga were filled with mixed emotions. While I do like the simple storyline, I definitely would fancy a more complex [Oi! Oi! Double H, this is a slice of life story, why do you need a complex storyline?!]lol but it`s still quite enjoyable to read.

You can read this manga online at Manga Fox or download it from Manga Traders. Big thanks to comrade Ram for introducing this manga in his burogu. Check out his first impression here!^^,

Above is a poster of Code Geass new manga, displayed at Tamashii Feature Vol. 1 in Osaka.

The project was announced December 2009 by a cryptic message sent by Code Geass's cellular phone site in Japan.

Code Geass: Renya of the Blackness
takes place in the same official Code Geass history as the anime, but in a different era. The title character, Renya, is a 17-year-old boy with a mechanical left arm and shuriken throwing stars as his weapons of choice. The story begins when Renya encounters a mysterious, perpetually young witch named "Reifū C.C." C.C. has appeared in Japan's historical Edo era to seek a new partner for a covenant. Meanwhile, a mysterious man, with a striking resemblance to the character Lelouch of the original anime, also appears with unknown intentions.

The manga will be serialized in the monthly Shonen Ace (月刊少年エース) from Kadokawa Publication starting this year.

It was announced by Nakayoshi magazine yesterday that Nakagawa Shōko Monogatari (Shoko Nakagawa's Story) manga will launch in the next issue on March 3.

Although Shokotan has drawn her own manga before, Asumi Hara is drawing this biography for Shokotan. The story will deal with Nakagawa's coming-of-age as she dealt with grade-school bullying and the passing of her father. Nakagawa's father, the popular Japanese actor and singer Katsuhiko Nakagawa, died when she was only 9 years old.

Don`t know who Shokotan is? I made a blog post about her here! I`m a big fan of Shokotan and I really can`t wait to read this manga!! I hope someone will scanlate this! ^w^

The new Code Geass project announced is actually a manga. It is called Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya (Code Geass: Renya of the Blackness). Goro Taniguchi, the director and story co-creator of the original Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion television anime series, created the new manga's story concepts and is scripting the story. And this is the first manga that Taniguchi is directly scripting himself.

The story takes place in the same official Code Geass history as the anime, but in a different era.

Okay I`m glad C.C is back, but anyhow the one called Renya looks like Lelouch! o.O

This manga is just part of the project announced, so there maybe more Code Geass to come next year!

Classic manga property Crayon Shin-chan is set to restart with a new mangaka, after the unfortunate death of creator Yoshito Usui.

The serialisation is still ongoing due posthumous publication of completed works, but this material is scheduled to run out in February.

However, the manga will be restarting “in a new form” in the summer of 2010, with a new mangaka and studio, and with the blessing of Usui’s estate.

The anime is also set to continue.
