CAPCOM announced that it is producing Zombrex Dead Rising Sun (Shibyō Osen Dead Rising), a live-action movie version of its Dead Rising 2 zombie game.
The film will be the directorial debut of Keiji Inafune, the producer of the "Dead Rising" games.
Inafune co-wrote the script with Makoto Ikehara. The movie stars young actors Taiki Yoshida and Hiroshi Yazaki, with a supporting cast of Sei Ando, Hiroyuki Onoue, and Kiyohiko Shibukawa.
First announced yesterday in Tokyo, the Dead Rising flick, formally known as Shibyou Osen Dead Rising, is being directed by Dead Rising producer (and Mega Man father) Keiji Inafune himself. The movie will follow the exploits of brothers Shin and Jouji who must escape from a quarantined town that's filled with zombies.

"Zombrex Dead Rising Sun" will be released online and on the Xbox 360 later this year.
