I recently got hooked with MUMIX (Myumikkusu), a Japanese internet radio station, established around 2002. MUMIX offers 24 hours non-stop stream, playing mostly J-pop/J-rock. Some of the songs streamed aren`t familiar to me but they`re awesome as I enjoy listening Japanese songs! You need to install iTunes(highly reccomended) or Windows Media Player if you want to listen to MUMIX.

Internet Radio have made it possible for radio stations to broadcast a wider choice of radio stations at national, regional and local level. FM radio has long been the most popular broadcast however, internet radio make it possible to broadcast to big audiences so it's likely they'll soon take over.
