Gundam SEED

Gundam SEED, it`s all about war, gigantic robot piloted by teenagers and action-packed anime! I finished watching it this morning, thanks to John for lending me the dvd! I enjoyed SEED and I cant wait to meet John tomorrow to get SEED Destiny and Gundam 0079! I have started watching After War Gundam X until episode 9 few weeks ago and gonna do the review when I`m done with it. I bought a complete episode of Gundam Wing DVD when I was in Kota Kinabalu but I`m not gonna watch it very soon. Need to finish SEED Destiny and the others first.

Gundam SEED follows Kira Yamato and his conflicts with Athrun Zala, who are bound by duty to fight each other despite being best friend. A good Gundam show wouldn`t be a good Gundam show without an excellent Gundam battles! SEED provides a very amazing Gundam actions that I`ve ever seen, well this may be due to SEED is the first Gundam series that I finished. The use of CGI in this anime is great and it blends really well. The character design looked kinda akward to me but it manages to develop a big memorable cast. Flay Allster, one of the babes in this anime is quite irritating and I`m glad she died at the end of the episode! The only problem I had with this anime is the recycled of explosion sequences during the fights, it really annoyed me.

All of the opening and ending theme used in this anime are my favorite and I just love it specially the first opening theme sung by T.M Revolution! All of the songs are catchy and it really fit the mood for this anime.

My ratings:

Story: 8/10
Animation: 7/10
BGM: 5/10
Seiyuu: 7/10
Characters: 7/10

If you are a Gundam series fan and just love those Big-ass robots then you can`t miss this great series but my advice as an otaku and a reviewer; don`t get too attached with the characters as some of them might died sooner in the episodes. LOL
