Avatar premiered in Brunei last week. I went to watch it with my cousins last Saturday and wow.. It is incredibly awesome and I don`t actually know what to say here.. it was just too awesome to be reviewed!
Avatar was written by James Cameron. It was an original tale, unlike other Hollywood franchises, which usually are based on comic books, TV Shows, etc.
The movie takes place in 2154 on Pandora, a planet which is home to Na'vi, a blue-skinned humanoids who stand 9' tall and have tails. Enter Jake Sully, a disabled Marine who becomes part of the "Avatar" program. His mission was to spy on the Na'vi, learn their ways and gain their trust so that he can convince the Na'vi to "relocate" a valuable mineral that could solve all of Earth's energy problems.
According to Wikipedia, Pandora is an inhabited Earth-sized moon of Polyphemus, one of the three fictional gas giants orbiting Alpha Centauri A (the names Pandora and Polyphemus are taken from two Greek mythological figures). Pandora is a really beautiful planet! Loads of unique and beautiful plants and creatures can be found on this planet. I really like the small red (was it?) lizard that fly when you touch it.
Avatar totally brings you to a different part of the planet. Watching Avatar is like an adventure to a new world. Pandora is really beautiful at night, specially when all the plants in the forest "lights-on". You need to see this yourself! Go and book the ticket if you haven`t watch it or steal it if you must!
I`m giving a big fat A for this movie! Great job Cameron!^^,

Avatar wasn`t that perfect. I found this movie was a bit too long. They could`ve just making it shorter by removing the "videolog". All in all Avatar was definitely a great movie! Watch it in 3-D!^^,
