Newtype has revealed the protagonist for Code Geass: Boukoku no Akito! The characters are designed by CLAMP, who previously designed the character for Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
Hyuga Akito is an Eleven (commonly known as Japanese) belonging to the EU Army. It is considered as the weakest among the three superpowers in the Geass Universe (other two is Britannia and Chinese Federation).
During year 2017, in the hellish European battlefront, he takes up a military operation with 5% survival rate as a soldier who has lost his hometown.
Leila (official romanization not yet confirmed) is the heroine and Akito's superior. Wears a peculiar costume. Does not seem to be Japanese, and has a refined, almost princess-like air about her?
People from 2ch are speculating that she might be a Britainnian princess due to her description.
As of now, it is still unconfirmed if Code Geass: Boukoku no Akito will be an OVA or a TV series. Stay tuned for more info!!
