Junpei Kosaka is a second-year high school student who despises cats and has an allergy to them. It just so happens that his high school crush is Kaede Mizuno, a girl who adores cats. One day, while walking home from school, Junpei kicks an empty can and unfortunately beans the local neko-jizō-sama (guardian deity of cats). He finds he can now understand what cats are saying, including his family's own ill-tempered cat, Nyamsas. However, if he does not grant 100 wishes from cats, he will turn into a cat himself.

The story of this anime was ridiculous BUT entertaining. I love how Nyamsas got Junpei pwned in every part of the anime! XD The animation is just nice and they done pretty well with the character design. My only problem is that they didn`t animate those cat`s mouth while they`re talking, even though that make sense.

The opening theme just wonderful with its cute animation and contains lots and lots of nekomimi =3 but the song didn`t really catches my ear and the ending theme was just okay and slightly better than the opening theme.^^

Nyan Koi! is good series to start with this new season specially if you`re a cat lover(like me!). A really nice comedy (with Nyamsas pwning Junpei XD) and I`ll definitely keep watching this!^^

Definitively the best comedy ^^ I'm also an animal lover in general, but since I have birds, cat are a bit ... dangerous for them but I dont dislike them at all. I will dislike cats when they eat one of my birds =)
But, I really like Nyamsas, queen of cat !!
